Halotron manufactures a series of halocarbon-based clean fire-extinguishing agents that incorporate blends of halocarbon chemicals and optimized hardware. Halotron® clean agents are discharged either as a rapidly evaporating liquid or gas that leaves no residue, minimizing or eliminating potential damage to valuable assets (such as electronic equipment, machinery, motors and construction materials).

Halotron clean agents were developed to replace ozone depleting halon 1211 and 1301 products. Halotron I is the most broadly used halon 1211 replacement of its type in the U.S. The Halotron Division was established in 1991 and manufactures and tests its products at AMPAC’s Utah
Production Facility.
